How Long Will the Film Last?

Quality Tint A Window window film is warranted by the MANUFACTURER for the LIFETIME of the purchaser in their residence, or, for commercial use, minimum twelve years... not bad...

How Easy Is It To Clean ?

You may clean the film the way you normally clean glass. Use a soft cloth, rubber squeegee, soapy water, or similar. Obviously not razor blades, or something abrasive.
Window film is actually easier to clean than glass.

Can Window Film Make Glass a One Way Mirror ?

Well, yes, most times we can achieve that with correct lighting. That is, the light on the out, or, mirror side must be slightly brighter. It does not take much, just that, and your private.
We do have several options of mirror or non mirror films.

What Causes Fading ?

A good question, as most people think it is only UV. But Ultra Violet is only less than half of the problem. Heat and light make up the other half of the problem, so, in our harsh NZ climate we need to deal with all three issues correctly.
We do that well with our specialized films, which in turn do not affect your clear view through your windows.

Does Tinted Glass Stop Fading.

Well, no !
Tinted, or coloured glass does not deal with the fading issues. In fact we put as much film on tinted or coloured glass as we do clear.
Only solar film deals with all three issues that cause fading.
We apply film to many new houses for maximum solar, or fade protection.

Why Film Instead of Blinds or Shutters ?

Blinds and shutters block the light, but do nothing to factor out the heat...and... the view is gone.
Many homes have large windows and sliders with a primary reason... the view.
Tint A Window films will let you preserve that view and eliminate a large % of problem areas, such as UV, Heat, Glare, Privacy etc.

How Many Different Films Are There ?

Quite a lot. Films come in family groups.
You may choose a neutral, or bronze, grey, blue or green toning. Then maybe silver or grey, black, bronze in reflective or non reflective.
Or neutral non reflective in any of the above.
Then each of those come in about five different shades, from clear, near clear, light, medium, deep, dark.
Do not worry. After 20 years experience we are good at helping you choose a film for your needs.

Does The Film Bubble or Peel ?

Uuhh NO !
We no longer have black + white TV either...

Will The Film Make The Room Dark ?

Well... thats entirely up to you.
The new technology non darkening films are basically invisible should you not want the light factor affected.
And then we have the crystal clear films...
